Xiaomi Redmi 7: Specs, Design and More Similar to what TENAA listing revealed, the video also shows the Redmi 7 with Redmi by Xiaomi brand logo. Unlike the Redmi Note 7 series of phones, the Redmi 7 is expected to sport polycarbonate back panel instead of glass which is understandable considering this is going to replace the Redmi 6 which means it will be a budget phone. Although the design of the Redmi 7 will be similar to the new Note, it will differ in terms of specifications. As for the specs, the Redmi 7 is said to come packed with a 6.26-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1,440p) resolution. As noted the phone will include dot drop notch on the front that will house the selfie camera. On the hardware front, the Redmi 7 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC which is also present on other phones like the Honor 8C and Asus Zenfone Max M2. The Redmi 7 is said to be available in three variants – 2GB RAM/16GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The video further reveals that the Redmi 7 will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. On the camera front, the Redmi 7 is said to include two cameras on the back and single on the front. On the rear panel, the primary camera will include a 12MP sensor while on the front there is said to be an 8MP selfie shooter.
